Liberal Budget – Max Bernier

Trudeau’s Virtue-Signalling Budget Leaves Our Economy More Vulnerable In An Uncertain World

With no plan to deal with the potential end of NAFTA, no response to tax cuts in the US, and even more debt, the Trudeau government is making our economy less competitive and far more vulnerable.

There’s a widespread consensus that Trudeau’s 2018 budget is really a campaign document, designed to virtue-signal in an effort to win votes.

However, that focus on virtue-signalling by throwing in all the politically-correct buzzwords of the day (gender-based etc…) ignores what our economy really needs.

Trudeau Liberals just tabled Canada’s first full-blown social justice budget

Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s third budget released Tuesday is very much a left-wing document and they’re not even trying to hide the fact. For a supposedly financial document, it’s rife with identity politics — touching upon multiple issues of gender and race.

Prior to the release they were teasing this as the first budget seen through a gender lens. Oh boy, do they deliver on that front.

The word gender appears 358 times. Choose another big issue, say, terrorism — that word doesn’t appear once. It tells you something about priorities.

The virtue signal heard ‘round the world

To those fleeing persecution, terror and war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada.” These are the words of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, from his now-famous tweet on January 28, 2017. One day earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a ham-fisted executive order, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States, a widely-condemned measure that led to chaos and confusion at border crossings and airports across the continent

Maxime Bernier: Why my new political movement? Because Canada has been hijacked
I recognize this is a risky enterprise. But the payoff for Canadians could be huge

Since I left my Conservative colleagues and announced I would be creating a new party last week, I have been accused of being a sore loser and only interested in my own ego, of being excessively obsessed with the issue of supply management and of splitting the conservative vote — guaranteeing Justin Trudeau’s re-election.

Federal government confirms plan to study a full ban on handguns and assault weapons in Canada

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is directing Bill Blair to examine a full ban on handgun and assault weapons, according to a mandate letter issued Tuesday to the Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction.

The letter — which comes roughly one month after the cabinet shuffle that established this new portfolio — instructs Mr. Blair to support Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale on the passage of Bill C-71 (the Liberals’ gun control bill) and to work with the Minister on additional policies, regulations, or legislation that could help reduce gun crime.

Atheism, Communism, and Gun Control: The History of Governments That Slaughter Their Own Citizens

Atheism And Gun Control

Throughout history the facts can not be disputed, when governments combine atheism and the restriction of firearms amongst the citizens, the results have always been massacre of citizens at levels so astonishing that only the most profoundly ignorant minds ever try to reason their way around it.

Atheism is one thing, bans on firearms are quite another thing, but when atheism is a government’s meme, firearm bans and massacres of citizens always follow. The notion that humanity is no more than a glorified beast is a devaluation of life already, so there is no need to ever wonder why it is that an atheist government would soon deny it’s citizens their natural born rights to self defense, even less cause to wonder why an atheist government would murder tens of millions of it’s citizens that it deems undesirable.
