AN HONEST OPINION AND REFLECTION OF RECENT EVENTS

Two separate events here, both a ‘celebration of culture’.

One has been deemed to be a ‘far right’ protest requiring substantial policing to prevent criminality and disorder.

The other has been described by Sadiq Khan as ‘an amazing way to bring communities together’.

There are many very decent people in the Caribbean community, some of whom I have grown up with, some of whom I have looked up to growing up as a kid in Luton, but the difference between these two events are like night and day.
